The Majors Division is for more experienced players who are highly proficient in the fundamentals. Players in this division excel at playing catch with precision, hitting from a pitcher, and fully understanding the rules and game flow. Additionally, they begin to develop a solid understanding of situational baseball, allowing them to make informed decisions during games. This division represents a higher level of competition and a deeper focus on the strategic aspects of the game.

Majors Division – Season Overview & Family ExpectationsHere’s what families need to know about the Majors Division. This level offers a competitive, fast-paced environment focused on advanced skill development, teamwork, and strong sportsmanship.
Season SchedulePractice: Starts mid-March Games: Begin in late April Number of Games: Approximately 20 games, plus the City Tournament (typically the last week of June) Please plan vacations, trips, and other commitments around practices, games, and tournament play. Game Days: Games are played Monday–Thursday Fridays & Saturdays may be used for makeup games
Volunteer Opportunities – Essential at the Majors LevelThe Majors Division depends on committed volunteers to run successfully. Families are expected to help fill any openings within the volunteer schedule to support fair, organized, and well-run games throughout the season. Key volunteer roles include: Team Parent: Manage tasks such as scorekeeping, announcing, equipment, and home team setup Team Cleanup: Assist with field cleanup after both home and away games Game Changer Operator: Help with player position rotations during games (your manager can guide you if you’re new to this) Field Prep: Prepare the field before and after practices and games—this is mandatory at the Majors level and the home team is responsible Umpire Volunteers: Teams umpire other Majors teams’ games (never their own) Both the regular game schedule and umpire schedule will be provided Volunteer support is vital to maintaining the quality and fairness expected at the Majors level.
Team & Player ExpectationsAttendance & Punctuality: Players are expected to be at practices and games on time and prepared. Majors baseball typically involves 4–5 days per week. Game Preparation: Players should arrive 1 to 1.5 hours before game time for batting practice, as directed by their manager. Playing Time: Playing time is earned through effort, attitude, and performance Each player is guaranteed at least two innings in the field and one plate appearance per game
